Yes! Folder Transfer can exactly meet your needs. We just released a new version that can exactly meet your need, which lets you distribute files to a specific group of destination computers.
Please upgrade Folder Transfer to the latest version.v 4.2.5.54.
For Windows 8 & Windows 10, you need download the latest version software package from our Folder Transfer website (http://www.foldertransfer.com/Download.asp), then re-install the software. (Exit and uninstall the previous version firstly.)
For other Windows versions, you may just upgrade the software automatically (or click "Check for Updates" inside the the software)
To distribute files to a specific group of destination computers:
1. You need create departments (define groups)
Run Folder Transfer -- Click "Jobs" -- click "Target PC Settings" -- Department -- Then you can create departments there.
2. You need group the target PCs (Let those destination computers to join a department.
Run Folder Transfer -- Click "Jobs" -- click "Target PC Settings" -- Target PC -- Assign department to each destination computer.(Join Department -- Select a department you defined)
3. When you transfer files, click "Send files to..." then you will find you can select department to send to. Then you can send files to a selected group of users (some specific destination computers)
Additionally, there are other new features that are convenient for users to distribute files to multiple computers.
For example, you can set default receive path for destination computers from one source computer. So you can easily specify which destination folder you wish to send files to.
You can make this setting in Jobs -- Target PC settings -- Receive Path
And you also add a nickname for each destination computer so that you can easily identify the computer users.
